I am Kavitha

Hi, I am Kavitha Arivirkarasan, a passionate occupational therapist and . I’ve spent the last 20 years empowering individuals living with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. My caring, inclusive approach is based on my path of accepting my neuro-differences as a neurodiverse person. Through research, self-development courses, and self-discovery, I’ve accepted my individuality and turned it into a strength. I’ve created a welcoming environment for my clients to feel appreciated, understood, and equipped to realise their full potential.

My educational expertise has helped me to make lives better for individuals. With a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (2005), India, and a Master of Science in Psychotherapy and Counseling, India, I have honed my therapeutic approach to be inclusive, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I specialise in designing evidence-based, individualised therapy programs. My professional journey spans across different regions of thr world and age groups, equipping me with diverse expertise.

A Fusion of Tradition & Modern Therapy

My Indian heritage and rootedness have enabled me to empathise with individuals and accept their differences and identify their strengths. I combine my traditional values with contemporary practices. I enjoy exploring diverse cultures, which inspires me to create inclusive spaces for individuals. I also practice mindfulness, yoga and love to indulge in expressive arts for personal growth, which eventually helps me take better care of my participants.
